TSA Weekly: A Great Reminder...

TSA Weekly: A Great Reminder...

Hi there, Reader!

🧠 Thought of the Week

When I started my YouTube channel a few years ago, I hit that first ‘publish’ button and braced for the expected onslaught of negativity and trolling.

If I’m honest, the expectation of negative comments held me back from starting my channel in the first place (well, that and the fact that I didn’t think there was any chance I could actually be consistent with creating and posting content).

It’s been a little over two years now, and while I have had my share of troll comments here and there, the actual feedback has been overwhelmingly positive! Not only that, I have watched my business grow like crazy since I took the risk of putting myself out there (you might actually only be reading this because of it).

What a lovely surprise!

I think that’s why I was caught off guard last week when I finally saw someone comment a negative opinion of me. Not a troll, not something I could just delete and brush off, but an actual, thoughtful, and not-so-positive opinion.

Of course it stung at first, but it was a great reminder to me that…ya know what? Not everyone is going to love me…and that’s ok!

It prompted me to use one of my favorite quotes for this week’s episode of the podcast.
